What is JAS?

The Justified Assessment Solution (JAS) is a tool that helps demystify and streamline the seemingly daunting task of assessing a security environment for adherence to industry security standards. JAS does this by utilizing input from various managers with responsibilities concerning information systems and assets within an environment, acting as a tool that allows an organization to essentially perform an internal “mini-audit”. How does the JAS scoring component work?

JAS uses an incremental scoring system based on a number scale from zero to one, which increases fractionally based on the answer provided during assessments. An Assessment’s score is tallied based the corresponding numerical value of answers given, representing how closely an organization is adhering to industry security standards. Can I add my own standards?

Where is my uploaded evidence stored?

When storing your organization's data, security is our top priority. Therefore, we store all audit evidence in encrypted AWS S3 buckets. Click here to learn more.

Can I edit standards?

No, You wouldn't be able to change the verbiage of a standard's questions however upon request JAS support team can look into it and update the standard's questions. Once the standard's questions verbiage is updated it will be immediately available when creating a new assessments.
